Methodology
CashPark only publishes a rate after reading it on an official government or issuer page (or a free government API) in the same session the site is built/updated.
- Brokerage sweeps: brokerage disclosure pages.
- Money market funds: 7-day yields on Schwab Asset Management, Fidelity, and Vanguard fund pages.
- T-bills: U.S. Treasury Daily Treasury Bill Rates XML + TreasuryDirect auction JSON. The weekday workflow commits updates to
main, which is what GitHub Pages publishes. - HYSA and no-penalty CDs: each bank’s own rate page or the bank’s own rate feed. FDIC national average stays as a benchmark. Conditional and promotional rates are labeled; unverifiable rows are omitted.
- As-of + source URL required on every row. Unverified rows are omitted.
Yields are not APYs. Money market funds are not FDIC-insured. Education, not advice.
